The Grondal adore food, combat, and little else. While they're young, Grondal combatants have their left arm replaced with a tough metal alloy for strategic advantage. Unable to feel fear, the Grondal are always willing to fight to a bitter, brutal end.

The Grondal stands at a height of 2m (approximately 6 ft 7 inches).

Spotlight:

• Grondals are noted to be strong, brainless brutes.

• People use the name as an insult: "Hey there, Grondal face!" and "“Ladies and grondalworms."

• The Grondal's metal arm can be used as a defensive weapon: "Fidelis bit down hard on the Grondal’s metal arm. His yelp of displeasure pierced Jun’s ears."
