Description
The priestesses of the House of the Arcane came upon a terrible secret so immense that it angered the Celestials, and were doomed to lives of eternal combat. Their opponents quickly learned that their forbidden knowledge was deadlier than any sword.[1]
Aos stand at a height of 1.75m (approximately 5 ft 9 inches).[2]
Spotlight
- In the Short Story “Heavy is the Head” by Johnny Casamassina, the young emperor Giotto comments on the horrible appearance of the Aos in an insult to his friend: “Look who’s talking. In this light, you could make an Aos cringe!” Giotto returned.[3]
- In the short story Champions: Maestro (Part 3), Jun’s father Cort mentioned that he once owned an Aos. “Made a little money. Decided I was gonna be a Maestro. Yeah, I got my coin together, and bought the contract of a real Champion. An Aos. She and me — we were a good team. Had a few good fights. And then– we had a bad one.”[4]
- The Cramster Blub wields a sword made from an Aos fingerbone. [5]
- An Aos was the victim of a murder in the short story The Inquisitor. [6]
